We want to improve the user experience on veganaut.net, especially for logged-in users who add information to the platform. We have sketches of how we want the interface to look like. Toby can implement those sketches in code, but we need help from a styling expert that is at ease with CSS and LESS. We currently use Twitter Bootstrap but are open to move away from it.
Therefore: if you are a CSS-expert and you would like the help us out, go ahead and contact us! We can offer you the same salary that we pay ourselves, i.e. if you have the leisure to work a few hours on a great project for no or ridiculously low pay (for Swiss standards) we’re a match.
If the previous paragraph doesn’t describe you then maybe you know someone whom it does. If so, please invite them to contact us. Thanks!
The Veganaut map can be embedded on your page! It features all the vegan options entered by our users and is kept up to date by them and us. (We hope you are one of our users as well. If not: register and enter all the vegan options you want the visitors of your page to see.) So how does embedding work, exactly? Continue reading How to embed the Veganaut map on your page→
Summerpreneurship is a wonderful program organised by the Impact Hub Zürich (and Geneva). It brings together impact-driven startups and young people looking for an internship in an entrepreneurial environment. Then check out the program’s homepage, where I copy-pasted this quote from.
There are a few roundabout ways to try to convince someone that it’s smart to invest in the vegan market. One of those ways is to point to undeniably smart people who have done just that. Another is to put your own money into this market and try to look smart in the process. I’ve done both of these things and I’ll keep doing them. However, there’s also a more direct way to make the same point: explaining why it is so. So why is it smart to invest in the vegan market? Because unless the vegan market grows massively we’re all doomed anyway. Continue reading Why The Smart Money Is on The Vegan Market→
